Go Cool With – Pina Colada (Virgin)
Highlights:
Virgin Pina colada is an exotic refreshing drink. A perfect drink on a warm summer evening, after a hectic day & a heavy workout.
Here to give a twist to the recipe to make it healthier I am using coconut water instead of coconut milk & to make it summery I am adding bit of black salt & lemon, for me it gives a unique taste to all my beverages.
This drink is also helpful for those looking for weight loss as it controls the hunger pangs & keeps one satiated.
Special Tips:
- Tender coconut water contains 94% water and is low on fat. It contains essential nutrients such as vitamins A, B, C and rich in its mineral content especially potassium, sodium, calcium, manganese and magnesium. It helps in replacing the lost fluids & replenishes electrolyte lost during summer.
- Pineapples on the other hand are rich in antioxidants and help to boost the immune system. They contain digestive enzymes which have the ability to breakdown heavy fatty foods.
- The combination of ingredients gives a boost to your day with the goodness of all the necessary nutrients to heal the body, help to restore nutrient balance and to detoxify at the same time.
